Legacy
As a family Independent Insurance Agency, we represent 4 generations that have had their careers in this industry.
The agency started in 1981 when the company founder Bill Richardson started the agency after he retired from his 35-year career with a Regional Insurance carrier. A career that began in 1946 after his return from World War II where he was a B25 pilot in the Pacific. What he believed would be a small venture as he moved towards retirement, turned into an active agency that he worked in another 32 years. A career total of 67 years in the industry that he loved.
Bill followed his father E.H. Richardson’s footsteps at the same Regional carrier, in which he concluded a 31-year career in 1964, serving most of his career in Sales Management in both Florida and Georgia.
Bill’s sons Scott and Marty Richardson joined the firm as the agency began to grow in the 1980’s, and Bill’s grandson Sean joined the firm after he finished college in 2008. All three are still active with the agency today.
We like to say that we are a “Family business doing business with the family businesses that make up most of Central Florida."
